Web App Charts

TOP TEN WEB APPS REVEALED

While researching potential speakers for our next event, Future of Web Apps Miami, we were frustrated by the lack of quality information about popular and successful web apps.

So we turned to the internets - urging people to visit this site and vote for their favourite app. Forget Alexa or Compete scores, or other metrics, these charts aren't based on page views but your views.

Who voted?

We received over 3,000 votes from all over the world. This isn't a scientific survey - it's more of a straw poll of our friends and colleagues across the industry - but we think the results are pretty conclusive.

Who’s behind all this?

Carsonified is a small company based in Bath, England. We build web applications and host training and other events for web designers, developers and entrepreneurs.

From Basecamp to Flickr, Last.fm to Dopplr - web apps have become part of our everyday online lives. But which is the most popular? Which single web app can’t you live without? We wanted to discover the world’s most popular web app and we asked for your help to do it! Voting is now closed and results are below.
